STRADA DEL SOLE has developed eyewear made of robust spring steel weighing a mere 20 grams and which can be folded into one ultra flat object.

The innovative design incorporates custom-built

temples which are as flexible as a hair grip. With one single click, the temples fit within the curve of the lenses enabling a super slim profile allowing them to be slipped into the back pocket of trousers and jeans, resisting from fracturing even when sat upon.

In line with the Swiss design, the manufacturing of STRADA DEL SOLE click glasses takes place in Switzerland. In order to protect the trade secret of the foldable and patented temples, they are elaborately finished and refined by the hands of the young entrepreneurs.

The Red Dot Design Award is the seventh prize which the sunglasses of STRADA DEL SOLE have gained for their extraordinary design and unique functionality.

In Tokyo, STRADA DEL SOLE was awarded "Eyewear of the Year", and with the "Designpreis Schweiz" the distinctive eyewear was presented and displayed around the world from Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, Washington, Los Angeles, San Francisco to Vancouver.
